2012 CAFE Oh WOW (COW) Award Winners for Faculty Development

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) is proud to announce the 2012 CAFE Oh WOW (COW) Award winners for Faculty Development: Jackie Cason, Trish Jenkins, Lee Henrickson and Luke Weld.

UAA depends upon the dedication and generosity of UAA faculty and staff to ensure the continuous improvement of teaching system-wide. Each year, CAFE awards its coveted Cafe Oh Wow (COW) Faculty Development Appreciation Awards (cows with wings and similar things) to UAA faculty, staff and/or administrators who have gone beyond the call of duty on behalf of faculty development initiatives that year. This year, CAFE awarded its bovine honors to two dynamic duos: UAA English Department's Jackie Cason and Trish Jenkins and the Faculty Technology Center's Lee Henrikson and Luke Weld. Jackie and Trish have focused their significant and varied contributions on best practices and conducting controversial discussions in the classroom. Lee and Luke worked tirelessly to ensure that the transition to Blackboard 9.1 was as seamless as possible.
