KRUA-FM will be on-air and open to new volunteers all summer longDo you like music? Have you ever wanted to take charge of what comes out of your radio? Need to buff up your resume? If your answer to these questions is a resounding "Yeah, baby, yeah!" then KRUA, UAA's radio station, is the place for you. Join us for our next volunteer meeting on Friday, June 1, at 5 p.m. Come eat some free food, hang out and learn about the volunteer opportunities KRUA has to offer you. Before the meeting, the station will also have its monthly cleanup meeting at 3:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend both meetings.

If you can't make the upcoming meeting and/or cleanup, don't worry! KRUA-FM 88.1 "The Edge" will have monthly trash cleanups and volunteer meetings all summer long. Cleanup will typically take place at 3:45 p.m. with the volunteer meeting occurring directly after at about 5 p.m.

The station is located in Room 158 of the Professional Studies Building and visitors are always welcome. If you want to participate, drop in or drop KRUA Volunteer Coordinator Grace Kramer a line at (907) 786-6806 or uaa_krua6@uaa.alaska.edu.

Even if you can't volunteer, you can always get the latest station news and listen in live at KRUAradio.org.
