Dr. Bruno Kappes presented at ePIC 2012 international conference on ePortfolios in London July 9-11.

Professor Bruno Kappes presented a paper entitled "Benefits of eFolio Thinking Across Several University eLearning Psychology Courses." As a program committee member, he also chaired a presentation session on "Identity Construction," which included presentations from Australia, Netherlands, Germany and Japan at ePIC 2012, the 10th International ePortfolio and Identity Conference in London, England, July 09-11, 2012.

ePIC celebrated its 10th anniversary of the International ePortfolio & Identity Conference and welcomed the second ePortfolio World Summit. Since 2003 they have established a solid track record as a leading forum for connecting practitioners, researchers, technologists and policy makers in exploring ePortfolio and Identity practices and technologies. Over the last 35 years, Kappes has pioneered distance delivery psychology course instruction via teleconferencing, live televised courses statewide in Alaska and Hawaii, as well as video, DVD and Internet. He currently provides eLearning psychology courses to 900 students per year, 300 per semester, in subjects that include general, abnormal, stress, forensic and trauma.

Kappes has presented numerous international presentations on eLearning including the 2008 iLearning Forum in Paris, France and EDULEARN10 in Barcelona, Spain and ePIC 2011 in London, England. He has also served as an international advisory board member for INTED 2011 in Valencia, Spain. Kappes is an active UAA faculty promoter and passionate leader-facilitator of several university-wide ePortfolio initiatives.
