Mark your calendars: Giving Day 2023 is Feb. 22

We’re excited about another #49HoursForAlaska and hope you are too! Giving Day 2023 kicks off 49 hours of celebration and giving on Feb. 22. UAA, UAF, UAS and the UA Foundation are joining together and inviting the UA community to show their university pride, share posts, spread the word and give to the area they care about most.

In November 2021, UAA supporters turned out from every corner of the state, country and world, helping raise as part of a larger UA Giving Day initiative more than $262,000 for UAA and over $1 million across the University of Alaska System. Become a Giving Day Champion! 

You can be a Champion for UAA by sharing your story and encouraging others to support students for a brighter Alaska. Register to be a Champion and visit the UAA Champion toolkit website to learn more. One lucky champion will be selected at random to win an Alaska Airlines voucher for anywhere Alaska Airlines flies. Simply use any of the "share on social media" buttons in your UA Giving Day Champion emails and/or on the UA Giving Day Champion Dashboard to be eligible.

Ready for a Challenge? 

Win even more toward a UAA fund of your choice by participating in our social media challenges. Share your entry for any of several categories using hashtag #49HoursForAlaska for the chance to unlock $500-$1,000 toward any UAA fund of your choice. Be sure to make your post public!
