The McNair Scholars Program provides a menu of free opportunities that can enhance your academic and professional journey, including paid travel and stipends for scholarly work.

Here are some easy ways to find out more about the McNair Scholars Program:

  1. Review the McNair Scholar Application Form for more information
  2. Send an e-mail to the director of the program (sunny@alaska.edu) with your questions or to schedule an appointment.
  3. Swing by to visit with the director of the program this coming week at the following locations and times:
  • Tue. Nov. 28 • Rasmuson Hall Lobby Information Table, 12-3 p.m.
  • Tue. Nov. 28 • Gorsuch Commons Lobby Information Table, 4-7 p.m.
  • Wed. Nov. 29 • McNair Scholars Program Office Open House in ADMIN 285, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m.
