  • Developing systems and work processes to help UAA in their sustainability efforts
  • Fostering community partnerships in Alaska's sustainability efforts

Current UAA faculty and staff may be nominated for these awards across campuses and units. However, employees whose primary job duties include university diversity or sustainability functions are not eligible for nomination in those award categories.

The nominations must be submitted using the online nomination form at www.uaa.alaska.edu/humanresources/events/chancellorawards.cfm. The winners will be announced at the Staff and Faculty Convocation in August.

Additionally, 5-year longevity awards will be distributed by academic and administrative units at their discretion this spring. The 10-year plus longevity awards will be presented at Convocation in August.

Nominations must be submitted by May 15, 2008.

We look forward to seeing your nominations!
