Confucius Institute offers fall Chinese folk art series through Nov. 13

The following classes are made available to the University and Anchorage community through the Confucius Institute on the the UAA campus.

Chinese Folk Arts Series: Chinese Painting I, Rasmuson Hall, Room 112
This is a 4-week session with a new theme each time.
Class cap is 10 students. Free and open to the public.

Week 1: Saturday, Sept. 18, 2-3:30 p.m.
Week 2: Saturday, Sept. 25, 2-3:30 p.m.
Week 3: Saturday, Oct. 2, 2-3:30 p.m.  
Week 4: Saturday, Oct. 9, 2-3:30 p.m.

Chinese Folk Arts Series: Chinese Painting II, Rasmuson Hall, Room 112
This is a 4-week session with a new theme each time.
Class cap is 10 students. Free and open to the public.

Week 1: Saturday, Oct. 16, 2-3:30 p.m.
Week 2: Saturday, Oct. 23, 2-3:30 p.m.

Week 3: Saturday, Nov. 13, 2-3:30 p.m.
Week 4: Saturday, Nov. 20, 2-3:30 p.m.


Chinese Folk Arts Series: Chinese Decorative Knots, Rasmuson Hall, Room 112
There will be new projects each time. The class cap is 10 students. This is free and open to the public.

Session 1: Saturday, Sept. 18, 11 a.m.-1 p.m
Session 2: Saturday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m.-1 p.m
Session 3: Saturday, Nov. 13, 11 a.m.-1 p.m

Chinese Folk Arts Series, Chinese Paper Cutting, Rasmuson Hall, Room 112
The class cap is 10 students. This is free and open to the public.

Session 1: Saturday, Sept. 25, 11 a.m.-Noon
Session 2: Saturday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m.-Noon
Session 3: Saturday, Oct. 16, 11 a.m.
