$1,000 energy-related research project scholarship; deadline is Feb. 24

Office of Financial Assistance wants to inform you of a new private scholarship, The International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) Research Scholarship.

The purpose of the International Association for Energy Economics Anchorage Chapter's research scholarship is to help fund an Alaska student's energy-related research project. The winning student submits completed research to the IAEE and presents to membership during their May meeting. The selection of the winning applicant is largely judged on the merits of the submitted research proposal.

Award amount is $1,000.

Qualifications:

  1. Applicant must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
  2. Applicant must have met the principles requirement in economics, and have completed no more than nine upper division credits.
  3. Applicant must submit a research proposal that outlines their research questions, proposed methodology and expected sources of information as well as an unofficial transcript to AnchorageIAEE@AnchorageIAEE.org by Feb. 24.
