Official Name

The official and legal name of the institution is the University of Alaska Anchorage. All documents or publications produced by UAA departments must use this name. Do not use a comma, dash or hyphen between Alaska and Anchorage. First references to the institution in printed or electronic form should use the official and legal name.

Notice of Nondiscrimination

Federal law requires that the following statement appears on all university print, multimedia and web publications that are made available to participants, students, applicants or employees.
