Biography

Samir moved to Alaska in 2014 and earned his Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage. In 2019, he joined the AHEC team as an AmeriCorps member, passionately committed to educating youth about mental health and health careers. Outside of work Samir enjoys traveling, hiking and photographing stunning Alaskan landscapes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting logistics and coordination of career pathway camps and intensives with regional AHEC Centers
• Supporting curriculum development, enhancement and update initiatives
