Students: FAFSA form available Oct. 1

The FAFSA form is available on Oct. 1 for the next school year at studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa. All students must file a FAFSA each academic year to receive federal, state and some scholarship aid. Prefer a mobile app? The FAFSA will be on the myStudentAid app, available on the App Store (iOS) or on Google Play (Android).

Management senior leads a UAA team as director for long-running rugby festival

More than 600 people gathered earlier this summer for the Midnight Sun Sevens Rugby Festival. The attendance is the largest in the event’s history, and is largely due to Tran Dai Phu and fellow Seawolves.

All about the ice

For the past two years, recent UAA alumnus Seth Campbell has worked on ICECON, a project commissioned by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to assist the U.S. Coast Guard in determining ship travel and safety on the Great Lakes. He's now handing the baton to UAA engineering student Kelsey Frazier for part two of the project, Arctic ICECON.
