The Technology Fellows Program is pleased to offer a weeklong intensive class in instructional
technologies to faculty. This opportunity will provide a broad spectrum of experience
with digital tools for traditional as well as distance courses. All non Technology
Fellows faculty are encouraged to apply for this chance to learn about the latest
and most relevant technologies for instruction.
Up to 12 faculty per year are eligible to attend, the course will be held immediately
following graduation in May and will be conducted by eMedia staff and experienced
faculty members. Faculty will receive a stipend of $1000, materials on the latest
technologies and digital issues, a flash drive, lunch each day as well as a chance
to attend an international Instructional Technology conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
Faculty will be able to apply the new approaches learned in their classrooms in the
following academic year. Alumni from each successive year will also participate in
the following year as exemplars and mentors.
Planning will soon be underway by the current Technology Fellows. As soon as specific
information is available regarding applications and selection deadlines it will be
