Join the Community and Technical College in celebrating Career and Technical Education month

Training and education for the fastest growing occupations are available within the Community and Technical College at UAA, and this month we are celebrating our students and program successes. Here are some recent highlights from Health, Physical Education, and Recreation:
* Conducted 5th Annual summer sports camp for 100 local economically-disadvantaged youth.
* Certified 100 high school coaches throughout the state.
* Purchased a mobile Physical Activity Research Station (PARS) which includes a TriFit fitness assessment system and heart rate monitors to bring state-of-the-art technology into the department for both student and faculty use.
