Join the Community and Technical College in celebrating Career and Technical Education month

Training and education for the fastest growing occupations are available within the Community and Technical College at UAA, and this month we are celebrating our students and program successes.

Here are some recent highlights from the Aviation Technology division:

 

• Maintained its high flying profile in 2006 when enrollment soared to over 600 students.
• Professional Piloting students have an opportunity to climb farther and faster by taking the new turbine transition course.
• Air Traffic Control kept their students on course using their new cutting-edge Enroute and Approach Control Laboratory.
• In August, 85 aviation students flocked to their new roost in the Aviation Wing in East Hall.
