Model UN Topic Emerging Pandemic Diseases

Feb. 22 through 24 will mark the 25th annual Model United Nations of Alaska, hosted by the UAA Political Science Department. Opening ceremonies will be Feb. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. Committee meetings will be held on Friday in RH from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. General Assembly and Closing Ceremonies are in the East High School Auditorium Feb. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This conference unites high school and college teams from across the state for three days of discussion and debate on the topic of Emerging Pandemic Diseases, all the while producing a simulation most authentic to the real United Nations.
