Feb. 9, 2007: Psychological and Social Challenges of Global Climate Change

The UAA Campus Bookstore and Lise Van Susteren present Psychological and Social Challenges of Global Climate Change. The event will take place Feb. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lise Van Susteren is a nationally recognized forensic psychiatrist and ambassador to the Climate Project, being one of the first recruits for Vice President Al Gore's Nashville Training sessions in early 2006. She has worked as a resident in psychiatry at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, D.C. and as a consultant to the CIA, conducting psychological assessments of world leaders. Today, Lise works to educate the public on mental health issues. She is also associated with the organization, Physicians for Human Rights.
