Walk a Mile for New Orleans

Join Chancellor Fran Ulmer and Mayor Mark Begich as they Walk a Mile for New Orleans. This indoor walk from Rasmuson Hall to the Consortium Library and back is hosted by the Architecture Engineering club and is a fundraiser to promote and fund a return trip to assist Habitat for Humanity in the rebuilding efforts following hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Habitat for Humanity will be building over 500 homes this year in the New Orleans area. The walk will be on April 13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and April 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. come get some exercise and help out a wonderful cause.
