Alumni Association Board of Directors Elections

In an effort to better serve the needs and interests of UAA and its alumni, the UAA Alumni Association Board of Directors has approved the expansion of its board from eight to 15 members. The Association is now seeking nominations from UAA Alumni who can represent the cultural, geographic and professionally diverse alumni base while serving for the betterment of UAA.

UAA and its alumni are experiencing increased recognition at the local, state and national level and alumni activity has increased across the globe. The Association is accepting nominations for alumni interested in:

Two positions (expiring in 2010) to replace existing three-year term board members
Three positions - New three-year terms which will expire in 2010
Three position - New two-year terms which will expire in 2009

All UAA alumni are eligible to serve and vote. You must be a member of the association (Membership is free and can be done online at If you are unsure of your membership status, call (907) 786.1942.

Brief description of why you are interested in serving and what you believe you will bring to the Board of Directors that will add value to UAA alumni and the university

Deadline:  All nominations must be received via e-mail or postmarked no later than May 8. Ballots will be mailed to Alumni Association Members on May 15.
