Disaster preparedness tip of the month

You should read these tips to be ready for a serous earthquake.
  • crouch under a desk or table, away from windows or glass dividers
  • check for injuries
  • look for gas or water line breaks. Turn off utility line to the home if needed.
  • clean up dangerous spills
  • wear durable shoes
  • listen to a battery operated radio for instructions
  • keep phone lines and cell phone systems open for emergency use
