What is Appropriate
by Kathleen McCoy |
CAFÉ, UAA Student Activities and the UAA Ford Foundation Engaging Controversy project
are sponsoring Politics in the Classroom: What is Appropriate? A faculty and student
discussion that will be held on April 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. in RH 315 with snacks provided.
Do professors have the right to make their political positions clear in classes that
are not addressing political issues? Do politics have no place in classes such as
Math and English? The forum will feature responses to these and related questions
by faculty and students as well as audience participation. For more information call
(907) 786.1817 or e-mail aftmj@uaa.alaska.edu
