Bear Paw Festival

The Chugiak Eagle River Campus is participating in the Annual Bear Paw Festival in
Eagle River on July 14. The festival theme this year is Pirates of the Bear a bean.
The 11 a.m. parade is a great opportunity to show some school spirit, put on a bit
of green and gold and look like a pirate. The parade lasts just over an hour and is
a wonderful community event. If interested in walking with the UAA crowd or helping

Parade participants need to be in place no later than 9:45 at the parade staging area
of Eagle River Elementary School. Be sure to park at UAA in front of or behind the
Eagle Center.
