Small Business Innovation Research Workshop

On Aug. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Anchorage Small Business Development Center on 430 W. 7th Ave. the Small Business Innovation Research Workshop will be held. The Small Business Innovation Research program is a specialized form of funding for small firms to perform cutting edge research and development that addresses specific scientific and engineering needs. These needs span the technology spectrum; from aviation and agriculture, to medicine and manufacturing. Companies are invited to compete for Phase I and II funding by submitting proposals for agency review. Any small business, institution or individual looking for growth opportunities through technology based research and development should attend.
