Traditions continue during UAA's homecoming celebration

The University of Alaska Anchorage Alumni Association is excited to announce its annual Homecoming with events taking place on UAA's campus and throughout the community from Oct. 5 through Oct. 14.

UAA invites alumni, students and the community to celebrate traditions by joining in the festivities with concerts, theatre performances, pep rallies, tailgate parties, comedy shows, games and good ole' Seawolf spirit!  Events include Girlyman in concert on Friday, October 5; "The Diviners" Curtain Call Reception and UAA Theatre Performance on Saturday, October 6; "Big Wild Seawolf" unveiling and pep rally on October 9; A Cappella Festivella on October 11; and the NYE Hockey Classic on October 11 and 12.  For a complete list of events visit www.uaaalumni.org .

The UAA Alumni Association is dedicated to fostering strong connections among its valued alumni.  The association builds tradition, provides outlets to meet new friends, offers a variety of fun events and grows support of UAA.

Through special events such as Curtain Call, Homecoming and Seawolf Socials, the Association strives to keep alumni connected with UAA and other alumni.  By actively participating in the community and in capital projects at UAA, providing student scholarships and mentoring, working with Alaska legislators and other advocates to support the legislative priorities of the University, we can promote and enhance UAA.
