What's RFID Doing in Your Life?

The UAA Campus Bookstore is hosting Radio Frequency Identification: What's RFID Doing in Your Life? Sept. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. Come find out what is happeing with RFID and how it affects you. Panel for this event includes Dr. Morgan Henrie (Alaska Center for Supply Integration), Dr. Bear Baker (Interim Associate Dean for the College of Business and Public Policy; Director of Alaska Center for Supply Chain Integration), Dr. Oliver Hedgepeth, (UAA Logistics Dept and author of RFID Metrics: Decision Making Tools for Today's Supply Chains), and Evan Welbourne (RFID Ecosystem Project, University of Washington).

The RFID Ecosystem Project investigates possible future scenarios for RFID applications in everyday life, privacy and security for the users in these scenarios and how to build data management systems efficiently.
