Air Force ROTC to hold recruitment Jamboree Friday, Saturday

UAA's Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) unit, Detachment 001, will hold its annual Jamboree 6-10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26-27, at UAA's Aviation Technology Complex at Merrill Field. The event will give high school students, JROTC cadets and UAA students who might be interested in joining UAA's AFROTC exposure to ROTC scholarships and leadership as well as the once-in-a-lifetime experiences the detachment has to offer.
