Deadline for applying to two undergraduate research awards extended

by Kathleen McCoy  |

The deadline for both the Undergraduate Research Grants and UAA's Research in the Community Award has been extended to Monday, Oct. 29, at 5pm. These grants fund a significant undergraduate research or creative project under the guidance of a faculty mentor. The grants fund actual costs of a project up to $2000 plus a $500 stipend. For the Research in the Community Award, students must develop their research proposal with a community agency to address a specific need in the Anchorage community. For more information on both awards, visit http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/ours/opportunities/research/.
