Fall 2007: Library closure update

by Kathleen McCoy  |

In the early morning hours of October 23, contractor activity caused the release of a nuisance dust into the public areas of the UAA/APU Consortium Library. Clean up of the area has begun, and we are optimistically anticipating the reopening of the library tomorrow morning (Wednesday); confirmation of the reopening will be sent in a later e-mail. A material Safety Data Sheet for the generated dust is available at http://www.ehsrms.uaa.alaska.edu/MSDS%20Library%20102307.pdf . We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Updates will be sent as further developments arise. UAA will remain open and operating a normal schedule today, Oct. 23, 2007.
