The UAA Tanaina Child Development Center has scheduled its Fall Carnival for Thursday, November 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Union next to Subway. Noted fiddler and Tanaina "graduate" Amanda Kerr will be joined by her dad, ISER's Jim Kerr, to entertain guests. Age-appropriate activities will be available for children, and guests will enjoy a variety of great food at the potluck. There will be an open house scavenger hunt, offering a fun way for parents to become more familiar with the center. Children are welcome to wear costumes! The Tanaina Center focuses on providing quality early-childhood development and education for children of UAA students, faculty and staff. Suggestion donations: $10 per family. For more information or to volunteer, call Tanaina at 786-1340 or write tnochevnaya@tanainachildren.org.
