Ton in Ten means tons of peanut butter for Food Bank of Alaska

by Kathleen McCoy  |

The Human Services Club is sponsoring a drive, "Ton in Ten," to collect at least 2,000 lbs. of peanut butter and jelly in 10 days for the Food Bank of Alaska. Bring jars of peanut butter and jelly to any one of 28 barrels located across the UAA campus. To kick off the drive, the club will give away free peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches in the Student Union today, Nov. 12, and also Thursday, Nov. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. The drive runs through Nov. 21. For more, contact Ira Rosnel, 786-6441 or afir@uaa.alaska.edu.
