Jan. 14, 2008: UAA University Singers Audition

The UAA University Singers ensemble will audition prospective members on Monday, January 14 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts building, room 124.

The singers will perform Copland's "Canticle of Freedom" during the Symphony of Sounds concerts under the direction of Professor Mark Wolbers on February 29 and March 1. Under the direction of Professor Mari Hahn, the University Singers will perform choruses from Mozart's comic opera "The Marriage of Figaro" on April 24-27. The University Singers spring concert will be held on April 17, led by Director Tai Wai Li. All are welcome to audition for the one-credit course, which meets 4:00 to 5:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through May 3.
