Public Involvement in Community Decision-Making

by Kathleen McCoy  |

On March 19 and 20, Resource Solutions presents "Public Involvement in Community Decision Making," a workshop to review various public involvement models and consider how public involvement is effectively utilized. Case study presentations demonstrate how public involvement is integrated into agency and organizational decision-making. Working in small project groups, participants examine a real-time decision making process and develop a public involvement plan to fit the process.

All workshops are conducted for two days and are held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional information and registration forms are available online: http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/resourcesolutions.
