Reel Eyes Film: "Rory O'Shea Was Here"

by Kathleen McCoy  |

The 5th Annual Reel Eyes showcase of films by and about individuals with disabilities highlights films in eight different Alaska communities. The first night of films for the Anchorage campus takes place on Tuesday, March 18, 6-8 p.m. in the Lyla Richards Room in the Student Union with a showing of "Rory O'Shea Was Here" and clips from YouTube.com featuring extreme urban wheelchair tricks.

"Rory O'Shea Was Here," from the producers of "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Billy Elliot," is an inspiring story of independence that follows two unlikely friends determined to face the world on their own terms.
