2008 Sustainability Fair

"Sustainability and You" is this year's theme for the 2nd Annual Sustainability Fair, scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Union.
Emphasis will be placed on the actions individuals can take to become more sustainable. Participants who bring a bag filled with recyclable materials or gently used clothing will be entered in a drawing to win prizes, including an iPod Nano.
Events include lectures on climate change, living without oil, and personal energy; workshops on green investing, recycling, and bike tune-ups; feature films and film shorts; live music from Jared Woods and Strept; and booths with information from local businesses.
