Ambiguity in Shakespeare and Cervantes: Literary Parallels of Two Great Masters

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Wednesday, April 23, 4-6 p.m.
UAA Campus Bookstore

UAA professors Ted Kassier (Languages) and Robert Crosman (English) discuss the writings of two great masters--Cervantes and Shakespeare--at the UAA Campus Bookstore. Everyone is invited to attend and contemplate what the chances are that these extraordinary literary figures would be alive during the same time and die on the same date, April 23, 1616.

Dr. Ted Kassier has been professor of Spanish at UAA for 15 years and has published extensively on medieval, renaissance and baroque Spanish literature. Dr. Robert Crosman is a professor of English at UAA and has published books on Milton's "Paradise Lost" and Shakespeare's plays.

Parking is free for this event. For more information, please contact Rachel Epstein at (907) 786-4782.
