2008 Mayor's Marathon

To sign up for the Mayor's Marathon as a UAA employee, please download the mail-in
registration form at www.mayorsmarathon.com/Register.cfm.
Complete the form and fax it to UAA Athletics at (907) 786-1142. Be sure to note on the form that you are a UAA employee. The marathon costs $45 to participate, the half marathon costs $35 and the five miler costs $20. You must pay the registration fee prior to bib pick-up. You can pay at the UAA Athletics office or send a check via intercampus mail.
The half marathon is filling rapidly--register by Friday, May 23 to guarantee a spot.
First-aid volunteers needed
The Mayor's Marathon medical staff is looking for anyone interested in volunteering to work in a first-aid capacity during the marathon and half marathon.
Requirements:
- Medical Experience: First-Aid Certification and above
- Work at one of the Aid Stations along race course (with a partner) or be a "Medical Biker" along a section of the course
- Volunteer time is approximately 2-6 hours
- First-Aid kits and free T-Shirt provided
