Through The Washington Center, UAA students can participate in semester-long academic
internships in Washington, D.C. for credit. The 15-week program provides tailored
internships that match the students' academic, personal and professional interests.
The scholarship covers the program fee, housing, round-trip air travel and a living
expense allowance. Three full scholarships are available for students from Alaska
for Fall 2008. The application deadline is June 13.
