UAA Student Media to cover Democratic National Convention

UAA Student Media will take a lead role August 25-28 at the Democratic National Convention when KRUA reporter Rich Stromberg heads to Denver to cover the event for KRUA 88.1 FM and The Northern Light. KRUA/The Northern Light will be one of the only news organizations reporting directly from the convention with live daily updates daily.
The Northern Light will post a daily blog and photos from the convention at www.thenorthernlight.org/democraticcaucus. Tune in or log on as we follow the Alaska state Democratic delegation and report directly from the convention floor at Denver's Pepsi Center August 25-27 and August 28 from Invesco Field at Mile High where Barack Obama will deliver his acceptance speech to an on-site crowd of more than 75,000.
Reporter Rich Stromberg is a senior journalism student at UAA currently working as a news reporter and the political correspondent for KRUA. He worked as a photographer and reporter for The Northern Light in 2004 and 2005.
