Breast cancer survivor survey underway

Behavioral Health Research Services (BHRS) at the University of Alaska Anchorage has launched a statewide needs assessment of breast cancer survivors. The research goal is to identify the needs of Alaska women facing breast cancer, increase the body of knowledge about breast cancer in Alaska, and provide baseline data about necessary service development to meet the needs of affected women.

BHRS is seeking between 600 and 1,000 women throughout Alaska to participate in the survey. Survey results will help guide recommendations for new and improved services essential to the care of breast cancer survivors. The survey is available online at http://bhrs.uaa.alaska.edu.
