Become a new student Regent or Commissioner

The Elections Board of the Union of Students at the University of Alaska Anchorage is currently seeking and accepting candidacy packets from interested, eligible students to become the USUAA nominees for Student Regent and Student Commissioner.
Nominees will be selected through a special election to be held at UAA on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 17 and 18. Nominees selected through this election will be sent forward along with nominees from all other University of Alaska campuses for final selection. These high-ranking student positions will be directly appointed by the governor of the State of Alaska. Both positions serve the UA system and State of Alaska for a two-year term beginning June 1.
To be considered eligible, a completed candidacy packet must be submitted to the Student Life and Leadership Office by noon today, Feb. 6.
