Jan. 22, 2009: Ceramics club reschedules opening reception

Due to last week's campus closures, UAA's ceramics club, known as Claybody, has rescheduled the opening reception for its current invitational show at the UAA Student Union Gallery to Thursday, Jan. 22 from 5-7 p.m. The show will be up through Thursday, Jan. 29. Works range from beginning-level ceramic art to pieces by BFA students and ceramic arts majors. The show will feature both functional and sculptural pieces.
Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, contact the Student Union Gallery at (907) 786-1052 or e-mail gallery@uaa.alaska.edu.
