Spring 2009: Information meeting for $10,000 grant competition

Graduate and undergraduate students are invited to learn about a Global Change Student Research Grant Competition at an informational meeting today, Jan 21 at 3 p.m. in Rasmuson Hall, Room 303.

This award funds proposals involving the biological, physical, social or engineering components of global change (to include but not limited to climate change) and its effect upon arctic or subarctic processes, ecosystems, and/or societies. Awards will fund up to $10,000 in project expenses. Applications are due Monday, Feb. 16. Check out the Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Web site for more details.
