Eileen Kennedy, Ph.D., visiting from Harvard University's Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, will address research efforts at the interface of organic chemistry and biology in a talk Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 11:30 a.m. in Eugene Short Hall.

The synthetic biologics developed in the work she will describe may be used as investigative tools for studying various disease states and may also provide a platform for a new class of disease therapeutics.
