Spring 2009: Author Gary Holthaus speaks on Native wisdom

Gary Holthaus is the author of Learning Native Wisdom: What Traditional Cultures Teach Us About Subsistence, Sustainability at the UAA Campus Bookstore. He also wrote From Farm to the Table.
Many Alaskans remember Gary when he acted as executive director of the Alaska Humanities Forum from 1972-1991. Most recently, Holthaus has been the chair of the Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture/University of Minnesota and the Director of the Northern Plains Sustainable Agricultural Society in LaMoure, North Dakota.
