The UAA/APU Books of the Year program presents Byron Mallott speaking on Alaska and Alaska Natives: The Next 50 Years this evening, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium.

Byron Mallott, a distinguished Alaska Native leader, is the clan leader of the Raven people in Yakutat. He is a past president and CEO of the Sealaska Corporation, as well as former executive director of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, mayor of Juneau and president of the Alaska Federation of Natives.
