2009 Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference

The Kachemak Bay Campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage's Kenai Peninsula College is pleased to announce that registration is now being held for the upcoming highly-acclaimed 2009 Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference to be held June 12-16 at Land's End Resort in Homer, Alaska. The keynote presenter will be critically-acclaimed poet and American Book Award recipient, Li-Young Lee.

The conference will feature 18 other award-winning, nationally-recognized authors, editors and agents who will conduct creative writing workshops, readings, craft talks and panel presentations in fiction, nonfiction, children's writing, poetry and the business of writing.

Optional activities include manuscript reviews, editor-agent consultations, receptions, a boat cruise and open "mic." For program and registration information, visit the Writers' Conference Web site.
