The deadline for the USUAA Leadership Scholarship is Friday, March 19. The scholarship rewards students for their leadership involvement in enhancing student life. Applications will be evaluated according to how the student has contributed to the improvement of student life on the UAA campus and shown leadership ability during the semester for which the award is made. Five scholarships are offered each semester. The value of each scholarship is equivalent to the dollar value of the student's tuition and normal fees, excluding non-resident fees, not to exceed $1,000.
Eligible students must be enrolled in a program at UAA and currently taking at least three credits. Students must hold a minimum cumulative UAA GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants are allowed to receive one Leadership Scholarship per academic year. Visit the Union of Students Web site for an application.
