March 2009: House takes testimony on University budget today

Today offers an opportunity to provide public testimony on the University of Alaska budget issues currently before the state House. This is a chance to inform legislators of the need for operational funding for the Integrated Science Building (ISB), among other issues.

For background, The UA advocacy Web site contains UA briefing sheets (with printable versions), budget request summaries, a schedule of upcoming committee hearings, links to other relevant sites like the Alaska Legislature and Governor, and more. Printable versions of UAA's briefing sheets are available at the Chancellor's Web site under Legislative Advocacy 2009.

Anchorage, 1:30-3 p.m.
Sitka, Wrangell, Homer, Petersburg, Dillingham and Cordova, 3:30-4:15 p.m.
Kenai, Valdez, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Seward, Mat-Su, Glennallen and Tok, 4:15-5 p.m.
