Spring 2009: Poet and Writer Laureates consider Alaska's literary landscape at Bookstore panel Wednesday

Alaska State Writer and Poet Laureates Richard Dauenhauer, John Haines, Anne Hanley and Nancy Lord come together to discuss Alaska's literary heritage.

Topics include how living in Alaska formed their creative work, Alaska's changing literary landscape and what comes to mind when they speak of Alaska today. Kathleen Tarr (CWLA/MFA Program) will act as moderator.

This event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the UAA Campus Bookstore, CWLA/MFA Dept., Lila Vogt and the Poetry League, Alaska Center for the Books, UAA College of Arts and Sciences and the Alaska Humanities Forum.
