Spring 2009: Hospice offers community presentation called "Diversity and End-of-life Care"

Hospice Foundation of America presents "Diversity and End-of-life Care," a community presentation today, April 29, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium.

Learn how culture and diversity impact death, dying and grief and loss. A live broadcast of a national panel of experts will be followed by a local community discussion. Members of the local panel include:

  • Rona Johnson, RN, Alaska Native Medical Center
  • Bernice Carmen, RN MPH, MS, UAA School of Nursing
  • Norman van Manen, Metropolitan Community Church
  • Claudia Rodrigues-Zinn
  • Elsa Sargento, Bridge Bulders of Anchorage
