UAA international students to assist with World Refugee Day

UAA's International Student Association (ISA) is volunteering to assist with World Refugee Day June 19 at Davis Park/Mountain View Lion's Park from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. This is a family-friendly event, held to acknowledge the accomplishments of refugee clients and to remember the millions of refugees who still yearn for a peaceful home.
There will be music, dancing, a barbecue and children's activities. ISA will have a table set up at the park to make and give away balloon animals to children. More volunteers are welcome! ISA will hold a session on how to make balloon animals on June 16 at 5 p.m. at the University Center, Room 113. Anyone may join us to learn this very valuable skill.
